There are a number of rules that come in to play when drinking with the club

The penny game

The penny has a beautiful portrait of our glorious monach, her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. This rules helps her survival.

What happens

This game has strictly one penny per game.

The aim of the game is to drop a one pence piece into the drink of a fellow club member while they are holding their drink. No-one is exempt from this rule, if you're sitting at our table, you're playing. Upon finishing your drink, the penny is yours to drop in the glass of another, forcing them to down their pint. Be wary!

If participants don't drink up contributions may be had to ensure the Queens survival.

Side notes

Old farts are exempt, some times they will play along, it depends how grumpy they are, but it's often not worth wasting your penny.

Should you not remove the penny from your glass after consuming someone else will, it then becomes theirs to reap havok.

Two pint challenge

Also known as being 'double parked'

This is one of the drinking rules to watch out for. Just because someone offers you a pint doesn't mean you should accept the offer!

What happens

(1) If you have two drinks on the table (asked for, not bought by some cheeky git trying to catch you out) then,

(2) Both drinks are taken away and hidden behind someone's back.

(3) You pick one arm and the drink from that is returned to you, then...

(4) You down the returned pint,

(5) Upon successfull chugging of the pint you picked, the remaining beverage is returned to you to drink at your leisure

Lucky if you pick the one with only half an inch in it, unlucky if you pick the full one!

Side notes

Having a jug of beer and a pint of beer which you have just poured from said jug is normally not challenged, however it might be, depending on who is around.

Having a soft drink and an alcoholic drink is allowed and should not be two pint challenged. False Accusations are punishable, if you claim the crime be willing to do the fine (and drink).

Don't try and catch your mate by buying them a pint when you have one and they haven't accepted it, if you have two you might well get challenged.

Lary Sining

All punishments should be finished as soon as possible, to encourage this songs are sung to help the lucky winner of the to be drunk fats pint!
